Follow Up Poland
The youth participating in the exchange had the opportunity not only to share their experiences with the members of the Youth Council of Starachowice but also to introduce new ideas on managing emotions and developing self-awareness. Following an intensive council session, filled with hard work and emotions, the participants presented methods to help calm the mind and better understand one's feelings.
During the meeting, a film created during the exchange was also presented, showcasing what participants had learned throughout the project.
Among the techniques introduced were:
Yoga and meditation, as ways to achieve inner peace and focus.
Painting in nature, allowing for inspiration from the natural environment and artistic self-expression.
Creating visual representations of thoughts and visions of oneself on paper, aiding in understanding personal needs and aspirations.
The discussion and workshops provided inspiration not only for the members of the Youth Council, highlighting the importance of emotional well-being and a creative approach to developing self-awareness.
The impact of these activities on the youth was multifaceted and highly positive. Here are the key aspects:
The youth learned how to manage their emotions in challenging situations. Through techniques such as yoga, meditation, and painting, they gained tools to calm themselves and reflect on their emotional state. This helped them better understand themselves and their needs.
Activities like creating visual representations of thoughts or painting in nature allowed the young participants to explore new ways of self-expression. Such creative activities can inspire further artistic development or simply serve as a method of relaxation.
Introducing the youth to techniques that support mental health emphasized the importance of well-being. The tools they learned can be applied in daily life, helping them cope with stress and social pressures.
Overall, these experiences enriched the youth both personally and socially, inspiring them to take care of themselves, develop their passions, and actively engage in their communities and promoting results of the "Soul on canvas" project.
