APV Meeting
APV Meeting Soul on canvas (Pissouri, Limassol, Cyprus from 22 to 24 of May 2024)
The meeting will be attended by one leader from each organisation. Due to the fact that the YE is going to bring groups of 8 people from each organisation, means that everything needs to be organised (plus one stakeholder from Cyprus and North Macedonia). Additionally tasks should be clearly divided so that everyone knows what we are going to do in the YE. Participants must be prepared and they need actually to do a lot of pre activities in their countries as well as activities during the YE. All this preparation explained and conducted in the APV meeting.
ACPELIA had the opportunity to host the APV for the Youth Exchange "Soul on Canvas" from the 22nd until the 24th of May. The meeting was attended by one leader from each organization, from Hungary, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Cyprus. The meeting was also attended by two stakeholders, from Cyprus and North Macedonia, as well as youth workers from ACPELIAs team.
After a welcoming dinner and getting to know each other better on the 22nd of May, the 23rd of May was a full working day which covered the following important aspects of the upcoming project.
Full rundown of the upcoming deadlines, including participant selection, logo contest deadlines, and rules and specific requirements for preparation activities.
Understanding the full logistics of travel, as well as the hosting venue, materials, activity room.
Presentation and opening of this very website of the Youth Exchange.
Discussing contracts and singing them upon careful readings and rundown.
After this meeting, the leaders are all now well equipped and prepared to support the participants from each respective country. This also includes any and all participants with fewer opportunities who may require special consideration and changes to accommodate them.
After the meeting, the leaders were taken to the surroundings areas, such as outdoor areas of the accommodation (where outdoor activities are intended to take place), the beach of Pissouri, and Petra tou Romiou, where participants are likely to visit during the youth exchange in October.
The APV ended with some time spent in the centre for Pissouri for dinner. The Youth Exchange is set to take place from 24 of October until the 1st of November, attended by 48 participants.
